Mirna Jukic of Austria set a new European record in the women's 200 metres breaststroke at the 20th International Austria-Meeting in Vienna Saturday.

In the Stadthallenbad Jukic stopped the clock at 2:22.46 seconds to win the final and slice 0.45 off her own record set in February.

Friday, the 23-year-old from Vienna, clocked 1:07.00 seconds in the 100 metres event slicing 0.10 seconds off the previous mark set by Germany’s Sarah Poewe in Berlin last year.
