South African breaststroker Cameron van der Burgh and American Peter Marshall gave the ongoing Fina World Cup a soar after reclaiming world records at Stockholm on Tuesday

STOCKHOLM - South African breaststroker Cameron van der Burgh and American Peter Marshall gave the ongoing Fina World Cup a soar after reclaiming world records at Stockholm on Tuesday.

Van der Burgh, 21, has broken his world record in the 50m breaststroke. He stopped the clock at 25.94 seconds last night to lower his mark set on Saturday in Moscow.

Marshall, 27-year-old, hit the wall at 49.94 seconds in the men's 100 meters backstroke to pull 0.05 off compatriot Ryan Lochte’s record set in August 2006, swimming the first leg of the 400m medley relay at World Championships in Shanghai.
