EINDHOVEN - Katinka Hosszu, of Hungary, set two world records and a new European mark at short-course FINA World Cup on Thursday.

In the morning's heats she clocked 57.73sec in the 100m individual medley and 57.50 to win the final in the evening session, to add to the 200 medley marks she set on day one.

The previous world record of 57.74 was set by Dutch Hinkelien Schreuder at the FINA world cup meeting in Berlin in 2009.

Meanwhile, Hosszu also set the best European performance in the 400 metres individual medley, winning the final in 4:22.18, shaving almost a second off the mark set by Hannah Miley of Great Britain at last year's Worlds (pr. 4:23.14, Istanbul).
