ROME - At the end of the Italian short-course championships in Ostia, Federica Pellegrini announced that she ended her working relationship with coach Philippe Lucas.

Lucas, who also coaches Amaury Leveaux and Camelia Potec, and Pellegrini began to work together in 2010.

Pellegrini, 23, is the first woman to complete the 200m-400m freestyle double at successive world championships.
