Mark Regan new NZ swim coach Australian
Mark Regan was named head coach of Swimming New Zealand.

He replaces Jan Cameron and will be will be working directly with the country's top swimmers and coaches.

Cameron, will move to a general manager role.

Regan, was head coach at the Australian Institute of Sport until late 2002, when he coached names like Petria Thomas, Sarah Ryan and Clementine Stoney. A year later he became head coach of Denmark.

FINA and EBU extend partnership to 2013
FINA and The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) have extended their partnership by an extra three years in a deal that takes the arrangement through to 2013.

Under the agreement with the world swimming organization, EBU will supply television coverage at the 2011 and 2013 long-course World championship, and the 2010 and 2012 Worlds on a short-course.
