Daniel Gyurta’s world-record performance in the men's 200 metres breaststroke highlighted the final day at the European champs in Istanbul

ISTANBUL – Daniel Gyurta’s world-record performance in the men's 200 metres breaststroke highlighted the final day at the European championships on a short-course in Istanbul Sunday.

The 20-year-old Hungarian produced a time of 2:00.67 seconds to surpass Australian Sprenger world best.

  • Women’s 200m freestyle
    Federica Pellegrini ITA 1:51.17
  • Men’s 100 backstroke
    Arkady Vyatchanin and Stanislav Donets RUS 48.97
