PESCARA - Aschwin Wildeboer Faber has set a new individual world record of 52.38 seconds in leading Spain gold medal-winning 4x100m medley relay at the Mediterranean Games on Wednesday.

The previous record of 52.54 was set by Aaron Peirsol of United States at last year’s Games in Beijing.
