BERLIN - Germany's Marco Koch set a new European record in the men’s 200m breaststroke in Berlin on Sudnay.

Koch set the record in the final of the German national championships with a time of 2:08.33 seconds, taking more than three-tenths of a second off the mark of 2:08.68 set by Hungary's Daniel Gyurta at the 2008 Games in Beijing
