RICCIONE - Federica Pellegrini has won the 200 metres freestyle at the Italian National Championships, lowering her own world record set at the Beijing Olympics.
She won in 1:54.47 seconds, erasing her previous time of 1:54.82 that she set winning gold at the Olympic Games.
