RIJEKA – Peter Mankoc of Slovenia broke the short course European record in the men’s 100 metres individual medley on Sunday with a time of 51.97 seconds at the European championships.

Mankoc, 30-year-old, eclipsed his own previous record of 52.21 that he at the World championships on April 13 of this year.
