RIJEKA – Nikolay Skvortsov has set a world record in the men's 200 metres butterfly at the short-course swimming European championships.
The Russian finished in 1:50.60 seconds Sunday.
The previous record of 1:50.73 was set by Franck Esposito of France six years ago.
